Bounce with excitement over these local Easter Egg Hunts

It’s that time of year again when bunnies are hopping and the candy is dropping! Check out our list of Easter Egg hunts and let us know where you’ll be hunting in the next week or two. Are we missing your holiday event? Send it to us on Facebook or at mc@newszap.com.

SATURDAY, APRIL 8

11 a.m.: Magnolia United Methodist Church, 29 Main St., Magnolia, 19962. All ages welcome. For more information, call 302-335-3304.

11 a.m.: Bicentennial Park, NE Front St., Milford, 19963. Join the city of Milford for the annual Spring Egg Hunt on the Mispillion River Greenway. Children 3-6 years old will hunt at Bicentennial Park. Children 7-8 years old will start at Bicentennial Park and cross the pedestrian bridge to hunt at Memorial Park South. Prizes for everyone. Bring your egg basket and see the Spring Bunny.

Noon: St. John the Apostle/St. Bernadette Parish, 506 Seabury Ave., Milford, 19963.

1 p.m.: 5th Annual Eggstravaganza at Benjamin Banneker Park, NW 4th St., Milford, 19963. Come out for games, giveaways and “the area’s largest Easter Egg hunt.” This event is for children 12-years-old and under. All children must be accompanied by an adult. For more information or to donate, call 302-245-4456.

1 p.m.: Ellendale Town Park, 300 McCaulley St., Ellendale, 19941. The town of Ellendale will host an Easter Egg Hunt Event for children 12 and under. Please bring a basket to collect eggs. Children will be divided into age groups for safety. The Easter Bunny will be on hand for picture taking. Light refreshments will be served.

2 p.m.: Reformation Lutheran Church, 613 Lakeview Ave., Milford, 19963. This event is for toddlers through age 10. Various age groups will have different areas to hunt at their own speed. Please RSVP to pr.paige@reformation-lutheran.net.

SUNDAY, APRIL 9

1 p.m.: Milford Elks Lodge, 18951 Elks Lodge Rd., Milford, 19963. Children ages one through 10 can join in the inaugural Milford Elks Lodge Easter Egg Hunt. Please bring baskets to gather eggs.

SATURDAY, APRIL 15

10 a.m.: St. Bernadette’s Church, 109 Dixon St., Harrington, 19952. The city of Harrington’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt will take place on the grass lot on the corner of Dixon Street and Liberty Street. Children between the ages of one and 10 years old are invited to participate.

Noon: Asbury United Methodist Church, 200 Weiner Ave., Harrington, 19952.

1 p.m.: Christian Tabernacle, 18940 Johnson Rd., Lincoln, 19960. Join in for fun with games, an egg hunt, face painting, a bouncy house and a bouncy obstacle course.
