Delaware State Fair now accepting Junior Board applications 

HARRINGTON – The Delaware State Fair is accepting applications to fill their Junior Board. The deadline for applications to be accepted is Friday, October 2, 2015. There are currently six openings to be filled.

The purpose of the Junior Board is to develop leadership and interpersonal skills of youth and to expand the Delaware State Fair’s volunteer base while increasing visibility and impact of the Fair.

The Junior Board consists of 12 members (if possible, four from each county) between the ages of 16 and 21 representing all facets of interest at the Fair; 4-H, FFA, entertainment, exhibits, office work, marketing, etc.

The term of a Junior Board member is for two years beginning November 1 and ending October 31.
