In early April, the Harrington Police Department was contacted by a social worker from Milford Memorial Hospital about a patient who police identified as the victim.

The victim reported that an unknown suspect had been using the victim’s debit card without permission.

Detectives from the Harrington Police Department began investigating and determined that Jensen, who was the boyfriend of the victim’s daughter and resided with the victim, used the victim’s debit card on 12 different occasions in March and April of 2016 while the victim was admitted to the hospital.

Police obtained a warrant for his arrest and took him into custody at his residence April 18. He was transported to the Harrington Police Department for processing.

He was charged with 12 counts of unlawful use of a payment card under $1,500. He was arraigned via video phone at Justice of the Peace Court 2 and was committed to the Sussex Correctional Institute in default of $12,000 Secured bond.
