Harrington man charged with Milford home invasion

The 34-year-old Harrington man was arrested March 1 and charged with home invasion, robbery in the first degree, kidnapping in the first degree, possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony,  possession of a firearm by a person prohibited, possession of a weapon in a School Safe Zone, reckless endangering in the first degree, conspiracy in the second degree, reckless endangering in the second degree, assault in the third degree, criminal mischief under $1,000, unlawful imprisonment in the first degree, wearing a disguise during the commission of a felony and criminal impersonation of a police officer.

Investigation revealed that Tolliver and another unknown suspect forced their way into the victims’ residence while armed with handguns. Tolliver and the unknown suspect restrained the 36-year-old male victim and then proceeded to assault the male victim. A 25-year-old female victim was forced into one of the rooms inside the residence.

Tolliver and the unknown suspect removed personal items from the male victim. The female victim was able to flee from the residence and contact police. Both Tolliver and the unknown suspect fled the residence prior to their arrival. Tolliver was later located by Delaware State Police and turned over to the custody of the Milford Police Department.

Tolliver was arraigned and committed to SCI in default of $240,500.00 secured bond. The investigation is still ongoing.
