Harrington police investigating armed robbery

BB robbery2 BB robbery3BB robbery1HARRINGTON – The Harrington Police Department is currently investigating an armed robbery that occurred at Bridal Bit Liquors located in the 17,000 block of South DuPont Highway in Harrington.

At approximately midnight July 29, police were called to an armed robbery.  During the course of the investigation, police determined that two suspected entered into the store and one of the suspects displayed a black handgun and demanded money.

The suspects then jumped over the counter and removed an unknown amount of currency and alcohol before fleeing the premises. Also during the course of the robbery one of the suspects struck one of the employees in the face causing minor injuries.

The suspects are described as two black males.  One was wearing black shorts, gray sweatshirt and was 5’07” weighing approximately 140-150 pounds.  The second suspect was wearing black sweatshirt, black sweatpants and was approx. 6’1” weighing approximately 170-190 pounds.  Both suspects were wearing disguises on their faces.
