HARRINGTON – A trailer sustained moderate damage Sunday afternoon after a fire that called out the Harrington, Felton and Houston fire companies, as well as the Kent County Paramedics, according to officials.

Firefighters arrived on scene to find smoke coming from the trailer located in the 2,000 block of Pine Pitch Rd. All occupants were able to escape the fire with no injuries.

Firefighters placed two hose lines in service and the fire was brought under control in approximately 20 minutes.  Units remained on scene to pull down ceilings, check other areas of the trailer  and open up walls to make sure the fire had been extinguished.

All units then cleared the scene and scene was turned over to the Delaware State Fire Marshal’s for investigation.  The trailer sustained moderate damage.
