Seaford man arrested on drug charges in Harrington

HARRINGTON – The Harrington Police Department arrested a Seaford man on drug charged after a traffic stop Saturday.

While on patrol on South West Street, police stopped a speeding vehicle being operated by Tyler Daniels 19, of the 200 Block of Sunnydale Lane in Seaford.  Police approached the vehicle and contacted Mr. Daniels, immediately noticing an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.

Police then conducted a vehicle search and located 102.1 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle.  Daniels was taken into custody and transported to the Harrington Police Department for processing.

He was charged with manufacturing, delivering or possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance with an aggravating factor, possession of drug paraphernalia and speeding.  He was arraigned via video phone at Justice of the Peace Court 7 and was released on $45,000 unsecured bond.
