Shots fired at Felton home

FELTON – The Delaware State Police are currently investigating an incident in which shots were fired at a house north of Felton late Saturday evening.

After receiving a 911 call July 16 from a neighbor of the victim stating someone shot at the home, troopers responded to the 1,000 block of Andrews Lake Road at around 9:43 p.m.

The 52-year-old female victim informed arriving troopers that she was at the back of the house while her 32-year-old daughter was in the living room when they heard sounds of gunfire outside. None of the residents were injured.

Troopers came up empty handed after an extensive search of the area for any potential suspects or vehicles in the area.

This incident remains under investigation by the Delaware State Police.
