Teen arrested after stealing basketballs from local church

HARRINGTON -The Harrington Police Department arrested a teenage resident for burglary and related charges Aug. 21.

Police were contacted by an anonymous person reporting the burglary had occurred at Calvary Wesleyan Church located in the 200 block of Delaware Ave. Police began an investigation and determined that Reggie Marshall, 15 of the 400 Block of Messick Rd. in Harrington, entered into a building belonging to the church and stole basketballs before fleeing.

Police were able to identify Marshall as the suspect and obtained warrants for him.  He was later taken into custody and charged with burglary in the third degree, conspiracy in the second degree and theft under $1,500.  He was processed at the Harrington Police Department and released to the custody of his parents pending a future court appearance in Kent County Family Court.
