Felton man arrested for violating no-contact order

HARRINGTON – The Harrington Police Department arrested Timothy J. Yarborough, 39 of the 12,000 block of South DuPont Highway in Felton, March 22 after he violated a no-contact order.

The victim contacted the Harrington Police Department to report a harassment complaint.  Police contacted the victim and determined that the victim was contacted by Yarborough via text messaging, according to Captain Kenny Brode.

A computer check revealed that Yarborough had an active no-contact order in place due to a previous incident, prohibiting him from contacting the victim.  Police obtained a warrant for Yarborough and he later turned himself into the Harrington Police Department.  He was arraigned at Justice of the Peace Court 2 and he was charged with Harassment and Breach of Release.  He was released on $1,000 unsecured bond.
