Frederica man arrested for criminal mischief

HARRINGTON -Earvin Ewell, 26 of the 100 block of Jackson st. in Frederica, was arrested Nov. 28 by the Harrington Police Department for one count of criminal mischief.

While on patrol Nov. 12, police were called to a residence on Little Mastens Corner Rd. regarding damage done to a vehicle. Police arrived at that residence and contacted the victim who reported to police that three windows fo the vehicle had been busted out.

Police determined that the incident occurred at Clarks Corner Apartments in Harrington.  During the course of the investigation, police determined that Ewell had an argument with the driver of the vehicle. After the driver went into an apartment, Ewell allegedly started busting out the car windows with an object and then fled.

Police obtained a warrant for his arrest and he later turned himself in.  He was processed and arraigned via video phone at Justice of the Peace Court 2 and was released on $1,000 unsecured bond.
