Harrington man arrested for offensive touching

HARRINGTON – Michael A. Spruill, 57 of the first block of East Milby St. in Harrington, was arrested March 27 after police responded to a report of a domestic dispute in progress.

When police arrived they contacted the adult female victim and Spruill who were both still inside the residence. Police determined that a verbal argument occurred. During which, Spruill allegedly assaulted the victim.

Spruill was taken into custody and transported to the Harrington Police Department for processing. He was charged with one count of offensive touching and arraigned via video phone at Justice of the Peace Court 2. He was released on $2,000 unsecured bond.
