Harrington man arrested on drug charges

HARRINGTON – The Harrington Police Department arrested Michael P. Cadmus, 34 of the 100 block of Dorman St., today, Feb. 24, on drug related charges.

While on patrol on South West St. at 12:58 a.m., police stopped a vehicle for an expired registration.  Police then contacted the driver, identified as Cadmus.  While conducting a computer check, police determined he had an active capias out of Justice of the Peace Court 6.  He was then taken into custody.

While searching Cadmus, police located .57 grams of Heroin and drug paraphernalia in his clothing.  He was transported to the Harrington Police Department for processing.

Cadmus was charged with possession or consumption of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving with a suspended or revoked license, failure to have registration in possession, failure to have insurance in possession and expired registration.  Cadmus was arraigned via video phone at Justice of the Peace Court 7 for the capias and criminal charges and was released on $1,300 unsecured bond.
