Harrington Police Department investigate robbery at Friendship Village

HARRINGTON, Del.  – The Harrington Police Department is currently investigating a robbery that occurred on Sunday, Jan. 10 at approximately 7:30 pm.

While on patrol, police were called to the parking lot of Friendship Village Apartments after receiving report of a robbery. Police arrived and contacted the adult victim who told police that three unknown suspects approached the victim and demanded money.

The victim initially refused and the three suspects then allegedly grabbed the victim’s purse and fled. The suspects fled in a maroon, four-door vehicle in an unknown direction.

The suspects were described at three black males and all were wearing gloves and masks covering the bottom portions of their faces. The suspects were possibly in their late teens or early 20’s.
