Man wanted in Harrington shooting arrested

HARRINGTON – A Dover man wanted by the Harrington Police Department for a New Year’s Day shooting has been arrested.

On Tuesday January 3, 2017, Trequon T. Seth 19, of the 1400 Block of Hopkins Ave. in Dover turned himself into the Harrington Police Department to face charges related to the shooting.

On Jan. 1 police responded to the parking lot of Lake Forest South Elementary School located on Dorman St. for a report of shots fired. Police found a 17-year old juvenile with a gunshot wound to the leg.

During the course of the investigation police were able to identify Mr. Seth as the suspect who fired the shots. Police obtained warrants for his arrest.

After he turned himself in he was charged with Assault 1st Degree, Possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony, reckless endangering first degree, tampering with physical evidence and conspiracy second degree.

He was processed and arraigned via video phone at Justice of the Peace Court 2 and committed to the Sussex Correctional Institute in default of $109,000 cash bond.
