Troopers investigate home invasion near Felton

FELLTON – Troopers are investigating a home invasion that occurred at a residence in Felton late Monday night, July 20.

According to Sergeant Richard Bratz, a preliminary investigation revealed the incident occurred at approximately 11 p.m. Monday, as two suspects obtained entry into the residence of a 42-year-old victim located in the 5000 block of Little Mastens Corner Road, Felton.

“The victim was in her bedroom and walked into the living room after hearing a noise. She was confronted by the suspects standing in her living room. The male suspect, holding a handgun grabbed the victim and demanded drugs,” said Sgt. Bratz.

The victim tried to use the phone. Police said, the suspects then allegedly took the phone from her and struck her head with an unknown object.

The male suspect was described as a white male approximately 30-40 years old, armed with an unknown make and model handgun.  The female suspect was described as a white female approximately 30-40 years old. There was no clothing description given for the suspects.

The suspects then in an unknown direction. The victim sustained minor injuries and refused medical treatment. A 9-1-1 call was placed from the residence a short time later.
