Giving is ‘irresistible’ at Lake Forest High School

LFHS Student Council sponsored the annual Mr. and Miss Irresistible Pageant on Friday night. The 16 contestants were able to collect more than 1,300 pounds of food (it will be donated to local food pantries) and more than $1,700 (in just two minutes) that will be donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Pictured are, at left, Ms. Can Do (the contestant who collected the most pounds of canned food) Brooklyn Dodd of Felton and Food Bank of Delaware Milford Branch Manager, Chad Robinson. Mr. Robinson served as one of the judges Friday night. They are standing with some of the canned food collected during the event.
